Hey hey, we're having training again(:
For the Sec1s, they had their uniform sizing to order their new NPCC uniforms. Be patient yeah, and y'all will soon be clad smartly in your own NPCC uniforms just like everyone(: They were also taught on uniform etiquette, such as how they should present themselves in uniform, how they should wear it etc.
As for the Sec2s, they were taught tent pitching and got to try out pitching a tent all by themselves(: Do remember what you have been taught, because y'all are going to need it during your camp at Pulau Ubin *hints*
As for our CLTs aka Sec3s, they had their revision for the various advanced footdrills. Since their Classification Shoot date was drawing near, they had their .22 revolver Training, where they had to train up their arm strength in order to hold the .22 revolver straight and steady(: Shoot well yeah(:
That's all for today(:

Welcome Party on 15 February 2013(:
Let us formally welcome the sec1s into our big happy family by having...*drum rolls*
Our Annual Sec1 Welcome Party! which is organised by the sec3s aka CLTs(:
Kick-starting this day was the Unit Annual General Meeting hosted by our OC Unit, A/ASP (NPCC) Tan Jin Sha(: During this meeting, it was announced that our Unit has acheived the Gold Award in the NPCC Unit Overall Proficiency Award for 2012! This is the 4th consecutive year that we have gotten Gold Award! Well done everyone! Let's all work hard and get Gold again for this year (:
Later on, the Sec2s sang 'Good Time' by Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen, and the Sec3s sang 'We Are Young' by FUN ft. Janelle Monae to welcome the Sec1s(:
Next, it's games time! the Sec1s and 2s were split into groups and played the various games planned by the Sec3s. They all had a really great time working together as a team and forging new friendships(:
After all that games, it's time for food~ Everyone was given refreshments to replenish themselves, yummy(:
Lastly, what's a game without prizes? It was time to present prizes to the groups for all their efforts(: Everyone returned home with a smile on their faces after the party as they all had a really good time (:
The Sec3s did a good job planning their first event for the Unit, but there's still room for improvement(:
What's a party without lots of pictures? So I'll end of this post with pictures taken during the party, hope everyone had a great time yeah(:
Click here to see all the awesome pictures taken(:

Hey(: Remember the Recruitment Drive I was talking about last week? This training is the last day of the Recruitment Drive, so the Sec1s will have to start choosing what CCA they would like to join. Let's hope we have many Sec1s joining us!(:
Back to the training(: Sec2s revised on their pegging skills, and how to tie bowline and tent guy loop. Do learn well, because you guys are going to need it during ATC(: *winks*
As for the Sec3s, on Wednesday, they learnt about communicating effectively and how to plan activities(: On this training, they had their first lesson plan on basic footdrills, where get to become CLs for that time and teach their squadmates. They also revised on their drills and had a lecture on planning activities safely.
To end of this post, I present a quote to all of you to keep in mind(:
Success is not final, failure is not fatal; it is the courage to continue that counts.

Training on 18 January 2013
Hey people(: wondering why we didn't have training on 11 January? Well, it's due to the fact that everyone were off for school camp~ Sec2s had a bi-cultural camp, Sec3s were off to Kota Tinggi for 4 days 3 nights, and Sec4s were having a study camp in school. Who had the most fun? You know the answer(:
Back to our training on 18 Jan(: Sec2s revised on how to tie a bowline, an essential knot when pitching a tent, and were taught on how to peg with a peg. Yes, peg using a peg. Don't play around with a peg as well, it's dangerous! As for the Sec3s, they learnt about MOI on Wednesday, a method of teaching which will be useful when they have to teach the juniors in the future. They also learnt how to pitch a flagstaff, so that they can raise a flag during parades(:
And not forgetting about Recruitment Drive which we will be having during this week and next week, to attract the Sec1s to come join our CCA of course(:
That's about it, bye(:

This will be the last activity of the year. Aww :( Anyway, the Sec2s revised their marching drills, and also learnt a new drill Quick Mark Time(Hentak Kaki Cepat Hentak). 大家好!
在今天的课外活动中, the Sec2s were taught how to march(: And of course, how to stop when marching. Everyone did pretty well for their first tr, keep it up(: However, not many of them turn up for activity as they had to prepare for Drama night. On the other hand, the Sec3s learnt squad taking and how to do drills with baton(: Due to time constrain, not everyone tried squad taking, what a pity. Fear not, we still have other activities to try out as well. Everyone learnt quite fast for the baton drills, but practice makes perfect~
Everything you all have learnt are really important, so everyone please practice what you have learnt so far yeah(:
再见喔!(:
