All for One, One for All

All for One, One for All
ONE FOR ALL, ALL FOR ONE

22 October 2010

Hello cadets! ;D Todays activity was based on a lighter mode, an EXCITING, EXHILARATING dance competition! :D Sec2s and Sec3s, hopefully you have bonded more with your competition group mates and get to know each other better (:

There will be many instances in school and in work life where you will be randomly placed in a group of people you may not work well with, or people whom you may not know well. This is where you realise the importance of teamwork, and the importance of accepting other people's ideas :D All groups danced well, and it certainly was entertaining! :)

The next activity should be your promotion test Sec2 and 3s, JYJYJYs and all the best for these tests! Study for it, do your best and passing will be easy =D So, put in your best effort :D 100% pass rate is not impossible, dear cadets! WORK TOWARDS IT! ((:

17 September 2010

Hello cadets! :D Congratulations to the secondary 3s for getting their civil defence badge and congragulations to the secondary 2s for getting your road safety badge! Secondary 2s, this is your first badge so pin it nice and smart! :D

Okay lets talk about today's activity! Okay, the secondary 2s had games right? I'm sure they are fun, and hopefully you guys enjoyed them :D Oh well, its the last activity until the exams are over, so its meant to be fun and enjoyable(:

Hey Secondary 3s, good job on learning squad taking! (: Its an important part of the Coporal Promotion test, so JYJYS! Don't forget the diamond drill that your just learnt! :D Also, well done for PT! Through the pumpings and jumping jacks and buddha claps, I'm sure your have strained your muscles. Oh yes, your pumpings have improved!!!!! :D thats great, keep it up!

Ending off, ALL THE BEST FOR YOUR END OF YEAR EXAMINATIONS, CADETS! :D Study hard and score well! :] Strive on, with excellence (which is defined by attitude and effort) ^^

9 September 2010

Hello cadets!:D Many many apologies for this extremely late update.
Okay, so heres about the current perfomances of the Sec2 and Sec3 squads(:

Firstly about the sec2 squad.Good job with the drills! There is obvious improvement, keep it up :D However, some things can still be improved, like the discipline level and your attention span. Do try to not move around, or engage in private conversations with your squadmates when falling in, or when your Sir or Ma'ms/CLs address you(: As for attention span, try try try to be more attentive when your CLs are teaching your new drills or new songs. It may be boring, but do remember your CLs are having it easy too, so try to understand and appreciate their efforts by paying more attention! :D JYJYJYJYJYs! d:

Secondly, sec3 squad! Your drills are improving too! The improvement is evident, as your actions as getting swifter and there is mores solid bangs. Great! :D Your corporal test is coming so don't let your drills slacken off okay? Always put in your best effort(: Oh and hope you enjoyed the bonding games your CLs prepared for your. There is always a reason behind everything, and these games are meant for your to bond more :D Its not difficult, why not have recess together, or have outings together? The memories you share in NPCC together as one squad is unforgettable and your may even remember your squadmates when your are all grown up, so enjoy the time spent with them! d:

Finally, lets talk about PT!!!! :DD
PT may be tough, or sian, but the PTIs will try to make it more fun(in the meantime bear with it :D) PT is meant to hone every one of you into healthy and fit cadets, so there may be times your may find it a little too tough. Its a good thing though, that your seem to like the running :D Okay now this is VERY important, your really have to sing(keep the radio on) when running. The reason being, it raises your morale so it keeps you going even when your are tired. It also shows the united-ness of our unit! :D Sec2s, Im sure your sing louder, with your sec3s leading you :D JYJYs with the singing okay? Next thing, the pumpings. I must say, I am impressed with the progess! All of your are trying your best, and your are going lower and more of your are pumping correctly. GREAT!! :D I like the fact that your are enduring and that your give your best shot for everything. Keep upthe very very good job sec2s and sec3s! :D

Okay so in conclusion, its fantastic to see that your are striving on as one unit, so JYJYs all the way, and dont give up! :D remember, nothing is impossible, its just difficult, so GO ALL OUT and overcome it! :D

11 July 2010

Oh and one very important thing to mention, to the sec2s :D
Great job for the parade!! It was good effort put in and you all must have been tired out right? Though the drills can be slightly improved (for example try not to shake the M16, and try not to bang the M16 to hard onto the ground). Still, its commendable!(:

Your endured the heat, the heaviness of the M16 and standing still for a long time and played an important role in the parade, perfecting it. Without your, the GOH contingent won't look complete. Keep up the good work, drills and of course, discipline(though your squad seldom fidget, which is a good thing!)! :D

Cheers and Jia Yous all the way,
Yen Ling ;D

10 July 2010

Hello cadets! :D Us, the 47th batch of CLs, are excited to take over this unit and we hope to bring up the standards and hone every one of you into promising cadets, who will then become outstanding Cadet Leaders(: This is not impossible, and we hope that you will do your best and put in your bestest effort, along with us, and strive towards perfection!

Of course, during this arduous and tedious journey, there will be times where your will feel really tired, where your may want to give up, however, we hope that your will keep this sentence etched in your minds:"Obstacles are meant to be overcome." We dont have limits, these limits are set by our inner-self and its up to us to surpass them (of course, please dont overstrain yourselves)

Please also frequent this blog as I will update it regularly (unless I'm too busy) Still, I'll try not to let this blog die down, and I also hope that this blog will a source of motivation and encouragement and a bit of humour: THE PICTURES (:

Cheers and good luck,
Yen Ling :D (Publications Head)
